Taking us through a magical story, Selfridges Christmas window display is one fairytale you won’t want to miss.
Filling the window of Selfridges in Oxford street, London, you will be greeted with well known characters and scenes from storys you love including Rapunzel, Ugly Duckling, Sleeping Beauty and even Rumpelstiltskin all with a festive twist.
Each window is full of glitter and sparkle with Rumplestiltskin even having a spider’s web glittering across the whole window and a spinning wheel As you would expect Selfridges has showcased some of it top gifts for xmas in each of the displays with one mannequin in a Simone Rocha dress – Sleeping Beauty at her best!
It’s not just the window’s that Selfridge’s has spruced up as you will be greeted with over 190,000 baubles in five colours which are draped across balconies and ceilings!
Unveiled on Wednesday (22nd of October) night by workmen dressed in high-visibility jackets, some of the public think this may be just a little too early with Halloween not even here yet.
Twitter has seen more discussion around the display’s than head Elf planning the nice list as users tweet pictures of the store’s festive line up. Using #DestinationChristmas the company has also tweeted pictures too.
