As you would expect from Cloud Nine, the straighteners arrived in a gorgeous, smart and stylish box with a white lid and black body, the box was completed with the C9 logo on the front and just to make it feel even more luxurious a blue ribbon was tied around it – we just couldn’t wait to slip it off and see what waited inside.
The Luxury C9 touch was inside, in it’s very own heat proof carry case. The case has the number nine stitched on it, with a duck egg blue rim around the zip, just like the ribbon on the box.
Inside lurk a girls best friend, before even turning them on we could feel how light they are to handle and unlike other stylers we don’t think our hands will ache after using these! Featuring mineral infused plates and detailing, these are a fashion accessory must have that won’t pull strands of your hair out…unlike other big branded stylers!
Now it’s time to put this beauty to the test! First off you should know these smart little straighteners have NO on or off button but use touch technology – sounds fancy doesn’t it? Simply plug the straighteners in and tap the C9 plates together – you will then hear a beep and these will start heating up to 195 degrees, however if like Katy in the office you are trying to be a little more hair friendly. just tap the plates three times and they will cool down to 165 degrees (sounds like the Dorothy of hair styling land), you can then start styling straight away.
In a rush to get ready for a Christmas party and forgotten to turn your C9 off? No worries, after 30 seconds they turn themselves off – so clever, however if you want to start reusing, they take just seconds to heat back up.
So would we use the Cloud Nine C9 Touch Straighteners? Yes every single day! With so many office parties to attend to and the big day itself, we would recommend you keep these close at hand!
