“I’m really ‘funny’ about what I put on my skin, as my wrinkles will attest, and anything which leaves my skin feeling greasy is an absolute no-no for me. Dermalogica have designed this medium-weight moisturiser for those, who like me, have a mature or prematurely-ageing skin and with the added bonus of an SPF50 I was delighted to give it a try.
After cleansing and toning my skin I applied a small amount, around the size of a pea, to both my face and neck, the moisturiser, which contains no artificial fragrance or colour, blended straight into my skin without leaving a greasy feel.
As this has been the hottest summer in the UK for a long time I felt the addition of the SPF50 was a bonus as this is something that wouldn’t have crossed my mind to apply before leaving home.
Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery contains a range of natural ingredients including antioxidant white tea and calming agent liquorice root as well as oleosomes – a new one for me so, after searching the internet, I discovered that these are oil capsules which are found naturally in various plants and seeds.
I noticed a difference in the feel of my skin straight away and I continue to use the Dermalogica Age Smart Dynamic Skin Recovery spf50 now. I certainly do feel a difference in my skin, it feels smoother, more hydrated and those pesky fine lines (OK wrinkles!) seem to be held at bay.
For any one, who like me, needs a little help with their skin I would certainly recommenced giving the Dermalogica Age Smart Dynamic Skin Recovery spf50 a try, though at around £60.70 it’s not cheap, but a little does go a long way. Will I continue to use this product ? Yes, I will, I really did feel that my skin benefitted from using it.”

Oleosomes are naturally-occurring spheres of emollient oils and vitamin E found in safflower seeds.
