Kim Wilde has released a Christmas album called “Wilde Winter Songbook” which features all of our favourite Christmas classics alongside some new original recordings.
The Wilde Winter Songbook Deluxe Edition features twelve tracks and six bonus tracks. Also included is a bonus DVD which features several video’s from songs off “Wilde Winter Songbook”.
The album has several duets. Kim sings “Winter Wonderland” alongside Rick Astley. She also sings “White Winter Hymnal” alongside her Father Marty Wilde and brother Ricky Wilde. Of course, her iconic version of “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” is also featured, however she duets with Nik Kershaw rather than Mel Smith.
We have listened to this over and over again the UTCT offices (for review purposes of course!) and we must say that we really enjoyed Kim’s versions of the Christmas classics such as “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” and the duet on “Winter Wonderland” With Rick Astley. We reckon this will make the perfect stocking filler for Kim Wilde fans this Christmas.
