How To Revamp Your Jars For Christmas

Do you have some empty jars sitting empty in the cupboards. Why not re-vamp them for Christmas and either keep them for your self or give them away as gifts. We were kindly sent some of the items listed on this page.

You could put sweets, mince meat, chutney, crafting pieces or whatever you would like to store in them.

So how do you create a Christmas jar?

What you will need:

  • 1 x Kilner Jar
  • 1 x Glue
  • 1 x Christmas Ribbon
  • 1 x Christmas
  • 1 x Christmas Noel Tree Decoration
  • 1 x Scissors

 

First thing you need to do is take your ribbon, we used Asda owns Christmas Ribbon and measure around the Kilner jar lid how much you ribbon you will need and cut it. The take your glue and stick this around the lid of the jar.

 

Next up take your Noel Tree Decoration, we used Asda’s Own ‘Noel’ tree decorations and cut off the string. Take some glue and put of few drops on the back of the sign and stick it to the front of your jar.

 

If you wanted to you could get a piece of Christmas fabric from places such as Hobby Craft and measure the length of fabric you will need just underneath the clip of the lid on the jar and cut it out using your scissors and stick around the jar.

 

To finish off you could put some extra Christmas stickers on the front or you could add in some tinsel instead of ribbon.

Then add in your chosen filling and then you have the perfect Christmas Kilner jar.
