Today it has been announced that Adam Woodyatt, who plays Ian Beale in our favourite soap, Eastenders, will star in a pantomime this Christmas.
The Wyvern Theatre’s 2015 Christmas Pantomime for is Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs. The theatre has recruited none other than everyone’s favourite Eastender – Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) to play the character of The Wicked Queens Henchman.
Speaking of the upcoming Panto, Woodyatt said:
“I absolutely love performing in front of an audience as it’s so different to camera – I love the reaction of the audience.
“I am very much looking forward to spending the Christmas season at the Wyvern Theatre, which I know has a reputation for staging outstanding pantomimes.”
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be staged at the Wyvern Theatre, Swindon, from Saturday, December 5, to Sunday, January 3.
Theatre director Derek Aldridge said: “I am really thrilled that one of the nation’s best-known actors is going to spend Christmas at the Wyvern. Adam’s recent live performances have received widespread critical acclaim and now he’ll be in 50 totally live episodes of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs!
