Lego Pirates of the Caribbean Queen Anne’s Revenge

What we know on the Lego 4196 set…

The new Lego Pirates of the Caribbean Queen Anne’s Revenge is to be launched on may third 2011 it will contain 1094 construction lego pieces and is suitable for nine and older. Our favourite pirate Jack Sparrow and his team are on board evil Angelica’s boat the Queen Anne’s revenge where they are to overthrow her and take it for their own! But what Jack doesn’t know is the one every pirate fears Blackbeard is watching and biding his time to attack – Will Jack and his crew get out in time or has he gone to far?

Lego pirates of the caribbean queen anne’s revenge 4195 has been designed to look exactly like the queen’s annes revenge ship in the new POTC on strange tides film – just a lot smaller! This lego set will not dissapoint in size or numbers as you recieve seven minifigures which include Blackbeard, Jack Sparrow, Angelica, Quartermaster, Cook and 2 pirates plus large sails, lanterns, fire elements and bone detailing. The lego 4195 queen anne’s revenge measures over 20″ (50cm) tall and 25″ (66cm) wide making it one of the biggest sets of Lego POTC.

When you first look at this beauty of a ship you automatically notice the black and crimson sails which all have a skull and bone design, this theme is carried on throughout the ship. The hull is a dark brown colour making it feel even more scary and has eight spaces for canons (only three included in the set). There is a working capstan for the anchor and big bone built lanterns which hang from the sterns – this has to be one of the scariest ships we have seen apart from The Black Pearl!

Just when you thought Blackbeard’s and Angelica’s ship couldnt get any eerier you would be wrong! The bow has a burning skelton on it which stands out on the ship plus there is bone rails, a skull banister and some smaller lamps. The sails which on any ship are a huge focus point have a bowspirit on the front – this truely is identicle to the ship in the new film!
