PizzaExpress have unveiled its Christmas menu and this year you can enjoy a Hog Roast or Cauliflower Cheese pizza whilst sipping on panettone and Bailey-based cocktails.
This year Pizza Express has pushed the boundaries with its new festive offerings which will be in restaurants from November 22nd. To begin with is the Christmas croquettes which will combine pulled beef and Chanti with a rocket and a horseradish sauce. There will also be a fish option which is oak-roasted salmon, crab and prawns served with rocket and the restaurants house dressing and a bit of flat bread with a wedge of lemon.
Next up is the main course, named as “contemporary twists on classics…” So this year there will be a hog roast pizza and one which we were not expecting a Cauliflower Cheese pizza.
To finish off your meal is its Desserts offering, a pannetone cheesecake which is speckled with chocolate chips and orange marmalade pannetone piece and it can be served with either gelato, cream or mascarpone. Or you can scoff on jaffa cake profiteroles – which we personally can’t wait to try. Filled pastry with an orange centre, covered in milk chocolate? Yes please!
The snowballs are also making a comeback this year which are “fluffy” Dough Balls sprinkled with icing sugar and cinnamon, served with a vanilla cream dip. Looking for a little tipple to go with your meal? The Chambord kiss which mixes Baileys and Chambord or there’s mulled sloe gin. Perfect!
