Have relied on gas cylinder/cordless stylers for years now but when my original one finally went wrong I bought 2 more Brauns in short succession, they don't have the same reliability any more and quickly become really difficult to ignite. Saw they'd brought back this Remington and thought I'd give it a go based on other reviews and the reviews weren't wrong. I remember the old corded styler I used to have years ago being a bit tricky/awkward to use but this new version is really easy, holds the hair well whilst styling but releases the hair without difficulty when you've finished. The power cord is plenty long enough and swivels so that the cord doesn't get all tangled up. It's dual voltage so can be used worldwide. The only reason I haven't given a full 5 stars is as per one of the other reviews, you have to be a bit careful not to hold the brush too close to your skin else the steam may scald your scalp! Otherwise an excellent styler.

This is the best hair styling item I have ever used; this is my third one in about 20 years - my last one is still going strong but I bought a third was just in case it goes out of production!
Far better than the gas ones I find.

All the latest wands seem to require you to loop your hair around them without any grip and I just can't get on with them. This one however grips the hair well and has a steam facility if you need it. I use it just to flick up the ends of my hair, keeping the rest straight, and it does the job perfectly without the need for the steam and the hold lasts well. Excellent product for an excellent price.

This must be one of the best pound for pound hair styling hot brush and tongs on the market today.
