Yes, you read the title of this article correctly, Apple are to release a new phone and tablet called The ‘phablet’. When will we ever be able to keep up?
The phablet is a cross between a phone and a tablet, meaning you can text & call your friends & family by using your tablet, which is now the phablet.
Of course the creator of this new invention is Apple as part of the i-phone range, making it the iPhone 6 – how many will there be!
The Phablet is set to be 4.7 inches in size with a 5″ version to follow the release soon after (or so rumour has it!) in September – could this be a top Christmas seller of 2014?
It is expected that the Phablet will have a whole host of features – somewhere in-between the features of the iphone and the ipad. We would assume all the apps will be available, but it’s likely that things such as blogging and using the internet will be much more user friendly.
As this is such a new release, there is really very little information about it so we’re using our imaginations. If you could make your Phablet do one thing, what would it be? ours would turn the kettle on 5 minutes before we were due to go home!
