What Were The Top Christmas Day Programs 2007-2016

As TV stations battle it out to be the host of this year’s most popular Christmas Day TV we wondered what the British public thought about the last ten years winners.  So, we’ve put together a list of Christmas Day’s most watched TV show from 2007 – 2016 enjoy!

CHRISTMAS DAY WINNERS:

2016:  BBC One triumphs as Strictly Come Dancing had a whopping – 7.2 million viewers.
2015:  ITV’s Downton Abbey is most watched – 6.9 million viewers.
2014:  BBC1 Mrs Brown’s Boys wins top spot with a HUGE audience – 9.7 million viewers.
2013:  BBC1 Mrs Brown’s Boys most-watched, with an average – 9.4 million viewers.
2012:  BBC1 Eastenders wins the battle – 9.4 million viewers.
2011:  BBC1 Eastenders are winners – 9.9 million viewers.
2010: BBC1 Eastenders was the most popular – 1.4 million viewers.
2009: BBC1 Eastenders hit the top – 10.9 million viewers.
2008: BBC1 Wallace & Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death had a massive – 14.3m viewers.
2007: BBC1 Eastenders was the biggest draw – 13.9 million viewers.
