If so, it might be a good idea to ensure you enjoy a cuppa and a snack before leaving home as this Christmas John Lewis have announced that as it’s cafes and restaurants get busier on the run up to the festive season it plans to reduce its hot drink and cake offer.

In a statement John Lewis said: “As we approach our busy Christmas period, we will be reducing the number of hot drink and cake vouchers issued to customers as our cafes and restaurants become extremely busy during this time and we want to make sure our customers experience the high standards of service they expect from us.
“All My John Lewis member rewards are continually reviewed and the rewards our members receive in future do depend on a variety of factors.”
As many shoppers continue to feel the pinch, the offer of a free cuppa and a cake was most welcome and many loyal customers will now feel disappointed and let down.
