Can you imagine a wooden toy train longer than 2,000 metres? well the well known toy maker Bigjigs is attempting to break the Guinness world record by building one.
The current world record for the wooden toy train track stands at 1,650 metres which was created by Japanese builders way back in 2006, so BigJigs only have a mere 350 metre’s to go if they want to hit 2000, however they are aiming for 2,012 so they have 362 to go.
Bigjigs have announced this over twitter and have estimated they will need over 10,000 track pieces to achieve this!
The staff will be taking on the challenge Chatham Dockyard, Kent on Thursday July 26th.
Everyone at UndertheChristmasTree want to wish BigJigs good luck – Come on guys you can do it!
