Christmas Hits The Supermarkets… In August!

Christmas hits the supermarkets… in August! It has been confirmed that some supermarkets have already started selling Christmas products in some stores across the UK.

Weather forecasters recently announced that the UK could face a mini heat wave over Bank Holiday weekend, but that has not stopped some supermarkets selling Christmas products.

The range of products available is small and is only available in several stores across the UK, however it is set to roll out across the entire country soon.

Tesco & Asda confirmed they were selling some Christmas Confectionary already, with Tesco saying their customers “appreciate the opportunity to spread the cost of Christmas”.  We here at underthechristmastree couldn’t agree more!

Preparing for the festive season early allows you to really enjoy Christmas without any hassle of gift buying and it means we can also try out the new sweets and tins to find our favourite.

A recent report from supermarket giant, Asda, revealed that a quarter of mum’s are already preparing for the festive season, and are budgeting more for 2013, than they did in 2012.

With Christmas already creeping into supermarkets and our high streets, is the most wonderful time of the year on your mind?
