Christmas with the Duke, Duchess and Prince of Cambridge

Christmas Day is one of the most special days of the year and with a new baby it becomes even more so.

A baby’s first Christmas is normally spent at home with the happy parents surrounded by a pile of toys and clothes that Santa (aka grandparents) has delivered.

So who’s home will Duke, Duchess and Prince go to?

The day is spent with family members all dropping in to see the newest member of the family in its Christmas outfit.

Deciding where the new Prince of Cambridge will spend his first Christmas will be a difficult one, as both sets of grandparents, Prince Charles and Camilla and the Middleton family will want to spend it with their new grandchild.

The decision will be made by Prince William, who is very much his own man and who has laid down his marker, stating that things are going to be different from now on.

Although Royal tradition has its place, William believes there has to be a new way of doing things which means the involvement of Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, with their unique blend of middle class informality.

As yet it’s unlikely that any decision regarding Christmas day has been made but it is likely that the Cambridge family will spend Christmas day at Sandringham with the Queen and the rest of the Royal family and Boxing Day with the Middleton family in Bucklebury.
