Let UnderTheChristmasTree introduce you to two of the most adorable soft toys from the Build-A-Bear workshop – Clarice and Rudolph, who will make you feel merry and bright! We were kindly sent these to review.
When Build-A-Bear sent us through this exciting package, I (Katy) jumped up out of my office chair and scrambled to get to the package first, when asked why I was so keen for this box I was reluctant to show the rest of the team – becuase I just knew they would want them too!

You can’t beat soft toys when it comes to Christmas gifts and with Build-A-Bears new Rudolph and Clarice you will certainly fill your child’s heart full of comfort and joy – we know just how much we loved them.
Part of the Rudolph the red nose reindeer range, these plush toys are suitable for age 12 months and older and when standing measure around about 46cm. What makes these extra special is the fun accessories you can dress them up in, we dressed Clarice up in red sparkly shoes with red bow, a jingle bells collar and a gorgeous white and red dress which is perfect for any party.
Both Clarice and Rudolph – who make a great team, both have light up features, simply press Rudolphs right ear and watch his cute red nose shine bright, press Clarice right ear and her cheer filled heart will also light up.
Both of these cuddly soft toys do require 2 AA Batteries, to put these in turn your teddy upside down and on both their bellys you will see some velcro – this is where the battery pack is hidden, using a small screwdriver open the box and insert them, we loved how you could not see the pack on the teddy.
Ultra soft to touch we could have cuddled up with these huggable toys all day and night long! You can have them standing up or sitting down and when finished playing they can store away very easily.
Part of Build-A-Bear’s new Christmas/Winter collection you can buy loads of accessories for each of them to wear which can help develop your child imagination and role-playing skills.
If you haven’t already heard of the phenomenon of the bear building workshop then pay attention NOW as you don’t just pick a bear and pay, it’s much more magical than that – you create the bear.
Children will be entranced at every stage of the build a bear process, from choosing their bear, to stuffing it and picking out relevant clothes and accessories. If you are struggling to find that unique gift then getting your child to help pick out and create their own bear is fun, exciting and after all that excitement of the day you can guarantee a long nights sleep!
I already have my eye on a few new one’s to add to our collection and to be perfectly honest, Rudolph could do with a new wardrobe…any excuse?
