The UK supermarket Co-op brings Christmas to our TV screens in it’s summer advert showing a child making snow angels and Any William song in the background.
Yes you read right, Co-op ‘s big summer advert not only has snow falling and a child making show angles but also plays one of our favourite festive song’s – It’s the most wonderful time of the year, however it seems as though the employee’s of the chain don’t agree.
Taking to Twitter and Facebook they have demanded that the advert be taking down with some employees already being disgruntled with Christmas stock being brought in earlier this year.
What do you think of the idea created by Leo Burnett, one to many sherry’s? or just a few mince pie’s away from being a genius idea?
More and more stores are not only releasing their predicted top sellers for Christmas but are to get festive stock in sooner than ever this year.
One thing’s for sure it looks like Christmas is on the mind!
Have you seen the advert and do you think it is a good idea or way to early to even be thinking about xmas? Share with us and others what you think below.
