Could there be a Doctor Who Christmas 2019 episode?

According to huge speculation BBC look set to announce a Doctor Who Christmas 2019 special before it returns to our screens in 2020.

After confirming that the show would not return until 2020, it would appear that fans of the series might well be able to tune in to watch a special Christmas episode for 2019.

Last year saw a New Year’s Day special however not a Christmas special.

We contacted BBC for more information but unfortunately they are not commenting on Christmas 2019 releases at present.

Will there or won’t there be a Doctor Who Christmas episode this year? Let’s just hope there is!
