We were delighted when Drumond Park sent us over their new Crazy Claw Arcade Action Game and couldn’t wait to open the box and start playing. The game is suitable for ages 5 to around 10 years, but that didn’t deter the team at underthechristmastree and we quickly set up the arcade game on the office table.
This action-packed, table top game is really simple to set up, doesn’t require batteries and is suitable for 4 players. Inside the box you’ll find the unit base and lid, folding clear walls, the all important grabber, 12 balls (3 each of purple, yellow, green and red) and 12 tokens along with a selection of collection cards, sticker sheets and the easy to understand instructions.
Suitable for up to four players, the aim of this arcade based game is to collect a ball with the grabber and match the images on your card from the tokens which are sneakily hidden inside the coloured balls inside the arcade machine, while fellow players continue batting the paddles on all sides of the arcade machine in order to make the balls bounce around.

Sounds simple? It’s not just as easy as it looks! As each player takes their turn to use the Giant Claw Grabber to catch a boiling ball, each of which contain a toy token, others continue whacking paddles to bounce the balls around, and all the while the excitement and noise level increases.
Holly was without doubt the most determined to win and made it her mission to collect her matching prize tokens as quickly as she possibly could, however as the other 3 members of the team continued to whack the paddles and move the balls around she didn’t find it as easy as she first thought.
We found Crazy Claw great fun and yes it did get a bit noisy at times but everyone was having so much fun we really didn’t notice. Suitable for age 5 and over (in our case well over!) this is a super game that kids (and adults) will get really involved in.
Drumond Park’s Crazy Claw Arcade Action Game would make a great Christmas or birthday gift. It is priced around £22 and is available from Amazon, and many other UK stores.
