Let us take a closer look at the TankBot, unlike other movable cars, sets and controlled gadgets you would need a remote to control their movement, but not with the new desk pets, all you need is a smartphone or tablet.
Using optical navigation technology; sounds pretty clever right? allows the TankBot desk pets to feel their way around obstacles and work out where these little creatures will move to next, hopefully without bumping into too many things.

There are three modes to choose from: Random, Smart Sense and User Controlled. As you may have guessed, random will cause mayhem as it goes where it wants, when it wants. Smart Sense allows the Desk Pets TankBot to navigate through mazes and obstacles and finally user controlled where you are in charge – We love random as you just don’t know where it will go!
All you need to do is download the free App, insert the dongle in your headphone socket and use the touchscreen controls to guide your app control desk pet around, You will be able to save money too as you will not need batteries, when you run out of power flip out the USB connector and plug it into your nearest port! 40 minutes of charge should give you 15 minutes of play time.
