Olympic stars are to be given a Golden Bear Pride Lion toy when they check into their accommodation later this month – We wonder if we could slip past and try and get our hands on one – not likely!
Golden bear has presented the British stars with over 1,000 cuddly mascot toys, the pride lion toys will be awaiting each Olympic athlete when they enter their rooms.
Normally these Pride Lion soft toys cost around £13 and are suitable for ages 10 months plus you can buy the lion toy from UK stores such as The Entertainer.
As you can see the mascot sports a red, white and blue coat and has a union jack inspired mane – he does look very friendly…we mean fierce!
A statement from Golden Bear read: “The gesture will be just one more reminder of the pride of the nation for all its Olympic athletes who are competing for Great Britain at the Games, whilst being hosted in the home nation’s capital city.”
