Eastenders star John Partridge (who played the fun loving character Christian Clarke in the hit soap) has landed the leading role in this years pantomime of Cinderella at the Royal & Derngate over Christmas.
One of our favourite things about Christmas is all the pantomime’s throughout the festive season. Cinderella is a show that we have loved since we were youngsters and we reckon John Partridge will make a fabulous Prince Charming.
Known best for his role in Eastenders, John is no stranger to the performing arts after starring in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Cats’, not forgetting his roles in Taboo, Miss Saignon and Starlight Express.
He is expected to star alongside Cbeebies presenter Sid Sloane and impressionist Danny Posthill in the pantomime.
Speaking of the production, John said: “I absolutely love pantomime and I can’t wait to get started in rehearsals. The cast we’ve assembled are brilliant and it’s going to be a show that Northampton won’t want to miss.”
