Easter Monday – All Fools Day

I can’t remember the last time the Easter Monday Bank Holiday fell on April Fools Day so to celebrate I’ll have to come up with some decent pranks to fool my all too aware family.

April Fools’ Day has got to be one of the best days to have fun with the family.  It’s the only day of the year that you get to play pranks and jokes on everyone – and get away with it! But remember, the pranks are only good until 12 noon after that the jokes turned back on you.

Teachers everywhere will be breathing a huge sigh of relief as this is one April Fools Day that they won’t be the butt of every class’ jokes and they can sit down in safety knowing there are no drawing pins or whoopee cushions waiting for them.

I doubt the old open lace joke will go down well again, actually I have a feeling that they would probably remember it from all the times I’ve repeated it in the past.

Since I’m desperately trying to cut the cost of my ever increasing telephone bill the “I’ve had a telephone call for you.  You’ve to call Mr C. Lyon (sea lion, get it?) on 000 000 000 (your favourite zoo’s telephone number),” will have to be put on the back burner for another year.

Get a couple of friends over and head out onto the pavement.  Everyone should then look up to the sky and start pointing and laughing – this is your chance to grab any unsuspecting passerby who looks up to see what you’re laughing at – great fun for both you and whoever gets ‘caught’ looking upwards.
