Finding time to go to the gym can be difficult to fit in as we all have a lot going on in our lives.
By the time you get home from work, the thought of having to go back out to the gym to exercise can put us off from going so why not do your exercising from the comfort of your own home.
Below are some exercises and ideas that men could do from home.
These will work major muscle groups in the body. If your not very strong, start of by standing and doing them against a wall, then when you feel ready to increase this why not try pushing with your hands braced against a table, and then on the floor.
Keeping you back straight, slowly sit down to chair level, hold it for a moment then stand back up. Take 5 seconds to get your knees to 90 degrees and take 5 to come back up
Put your feet together, then take along stride forwards, bending the front leg so that your knee is a 90 degrees but your knee is not quite over the ankle. Make sure that you keep your back straight
Lie on your back, keep your feet on the floor, bend your knees and curl forwards until your shoulder blades are off the ground. Keep your arms behind your head and concentrate on flexing your trunk
Use your stair case at home by climbing up and down the stairs throughout the day
You can either skip inside the house or you can go outside. Skipping is a full body workout which uses your abdominals to stabilise the body, legs for jumping, shoulders and arms for turning the rope
