Amateur singers and community choirs are being asked to sing on a charity single that will feature in the Christmas TV advert for Waitrose.
Thousands of voices will be overlaid on the song, which will split the profits between three UK charities helping the elderly, children and those struggling to buy food.
The song chosen for the Waitrose advert is Dolly Parton”s track ‘Try’ and it will be produced by David Kosten who has worked with the likes of Coldplay’s Chris Martain and The Flaming Lips.
The advert will be run in the run-up to the big day, December 25th.
