John Lewis Christmas Advert focuses on a snowman’s romantic mission to buy the perfect gift for a snow woman!
As the festive season kicks off we have seen adverts for Marks & Spencers, Matalan, Debenhams and many more UK Retailers but the one everyone has been waiting for has finally arrived – John Lewis Christmas advert “Give a little more love this Chistmas” is their motto for the festive season.
The advert which aims to inspire its customers to “put real effort and emotion into finding the perfect gift for their loved ones at Christmas”.
As the famous ‘The Power of Love’ plays in the background, the ad follows a Snowman on his epic journey through mountain roads, across river and city to find the perfect gift for a snow woman.

Directed by Douglas Wilson who also shot last years tear jerker advert, filmed the festive ad in New Zealand.
Craig Inglis, marketing director at John Lewis, said the idea behind the ad was to give a “creative twist” to the message that its customers “put real effort and emotion into finding the perfect gift for their loved ones at Christmas”.
