Have your savings recovered from Christmas spending?

It would appear, according to research, that we are still struggling to get our savings back to our pre Christmas spend balance

According to Halifax’s Savings Review, savings balances for the first quarter of this year are down by more than £1,000, with those living in the South East of England the highest at £1,424.

With Christmas spending hitting our pockets hard over November and December (I really must try to start my Christmas shopping now so that I can spread the cost slightly), and now it’s time to think about booking our annual family holiday.

It’s no wonder our savings are down
