How to get 8 days off at Christmas with just using 3 holiday days at work

We know Christmas 2017 is over but now is the perfect time to start planning ahead for Christmas 2018. Here is the ideal way to use only just three of your working holiday days to get eight days off over Christmas.

Christmas Day falls on a Tuesday this year which means we may have to work Christmas Eve however we will get the next two days off (Tuesday and Wednesday). If you then take off just two of your paid working holiday leave that will give you Thursday and Friday off and then it falls to the weekend giving us Saturday and Sunday.

Take off just one more day off on Monday 31st December and then it is New Year’s Day on the Tuesday giving you a massive eight days of Christmas fun with just taking off 3 working days.

Not bad for just three days off work!
