Who doesn’t love to curl up with a cup of hot chocolate especially as the winter nights draw in? These homemade hot chocolate baubles will instantly give you the perfect cuppa and what’s more you can give these out as gifts to just about everyone on your list!

What you’ll need to get started:
- Shatterproof baubles (we used Hobbycraft)
- Ribbon and tags
- Selection of your favourite hot chocolate (we were sent Options)
- Sprinkles, chocolate chunks or mini marshmallows
Let’s Get Started:
Step 1: Get yourself a large mug (Katy used her Xmas mug) and fill with either flower or rice, this will allow you to place the shatterproof bauble inside so it doesn’t move about when filling.
Step 2: Pull the top of the bauble (where the ribbon would go) off and pop back into your mug. Using a piece of paper, roll into a cone and sellotape – this will be your funnel to place your hot chocolate in. Take three heaped teaspoons of your favourite hot chocolate and put through the funnel into your bauble.
Tip: Don’t worry if the hot chocolate goes far and wide simply add in another teaspoon to make up.
Step 3: It’s time to fill your bauble with mini marshmallows, sprinkles, chocolate chunks, do this by using your paper funnel and fill to your hearts desire. Once filled, pinching the lid together place the top of the bauble securely back on.
Step 4: Cut a length of ribbon, thread through the top of the bauble and either tie at the top or you can use a stapler to join the two ends. Tag it up and your done!
Tip: We wrote instructions (pop into a mug, add milk and enjoy) on the tag to ensure those who received one knew what to do.

I saw on the video and mine will be the same that the marshmallows appear to be the same size as the opening. How do you ensure it all comes out smoothly?
