It’s all about the 3P’s this Christmas

As Christmas gets closer those party invitations will be dropping through your door and you’ll want to look your best and to do so you’ll need the 3P’s. Please note we were kindly sent the items below.

So, what on earth are these 3P’s and how will they help me get party ready? Preparation! Pampering! and Party!

Start your beauty preparation as soon as you can so that you have loads of time to relax in a nice hot bath while the kids are at school and your other half out at work.  There are loads of products around to help you relax as you soak, one of our favourites is Dead Sea Aromatherapy Bath Salts with Frankincense oil (how Christmassy will this make you feel?) and rose petals. Not only will this help you unwind, the container is so nice it’ll look great on the side of your bath. So turn the radio to your favourite station and let the heat of the bath and the relaxing smell of you bath salts help you enjoy some ‘me’ time.

If you’re a shower kinda gal who need a little uplift then take a look at the new Palmolive Ayurituel Shower Gel –  Energy from Palmolive which contains Sandalwood and Ginger extracts to give you an uplifting experience.

Washing alone will not rehydrate your skin and as you want to look your best why not try a cellulose face mask. These gel masks are designed to hydrate and soothe your skin, most are easy to apply and take around 20 – 30 minutes, so if you’re hopping into the bath for a long, hot soak, slap one of these on your face just before you get in and let it get to work rejuvenating your complexion as you relax. I tried the DHC Bio Cellulose Mask and my skin did feel tighter and more supple after using it.

Who will you be kissing under the mistletoe this Christmas? Whoever that lucky person is you’ll want your skin to look it’s best close up and, nice though it is to indulge in mince pies, chocolate etc, it does nothing for our skin. This is the  time to give your skin a Christmas treat, with some effective skincare to boost your skin’s smoothness and radiance, once again I was guinea pig (not that I’m complaining) and was given the Merumaya Pure Radiance Mask to try out. I found that it smoothed my complexion out and gave it a super glow (I’ve never looked so healthy), and as an added bonus it smells great.

Not getting  enough sleep affects our skin and as we try to balance the secret Christmas shopping with the bills and excited children it’s no wonder our sleep pattern is disturbed. Lavender is great for helping us relax and unwind and I regularly slip my lavender pillow from catherine green under my pillow at night and it helps me relax and wind letting me catch up with some much needed snooze time.

Now you’re ready for the part season to begin. You’re relaxed, pampered and your skin both looks and feels great. That cute little outfit you’ve had your eyes on for ages is now hanging happily in your wardrobe just ready for that special occasion.

Top your look off with some new make up – we tried the new evening opulence range from Revlon. If you’re looking for the perfect pout then look no further than their new ColourBurst Lipgloss we tried out Bejeweled and liked the even way it went on and the glamouress finish. Are you a fan of Eye Liner? Then take a look at the new Photo-Ready Kajal Intense Eye Liner & Brightener these double ended creamy eyeliners are the perfect answer to creating catwalk eyes.

If you’re not a fan of lipstick the why not add a tint of colour to your lips whit Revlon’s ColorBurst Butter Balms there great over bare lips or for adding extra shine to your lipstick.

Slip on that new outfit, splash on some of your favourite perfume and your ready to party.
