X Factor is back And The Christmas Countdown Is On

IT’S TIME… TO FACE… THE MUSIC! We can all hear you singing the theme tune as we speak. That’s right the Xfactor is back and making a bee-line for our screens this month.

The return of the X factor  is makes us realize that winter is right on our doorsteps and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

For us the countdown to Christmas starts on Boxing Day, but for many others the beginning of the X Factor signals the countdown to the festive season.

If it follows it’s usual line up, Xfactor will finish 2 weeks before Christmas, just in time to snag that all important winners No.1.

So get ready to settle down in front of a roaring fire, swap that pimms for some warm mulled wine and enjoy Xfactor.

New judge Mel B is set to join the panel with Cheryl Cole returning alongside Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh.

We expect to see huge viewing figures, as the return of Cheryl Cole is set to ignite fireworks.  Cole left the X factor in 2011 to pursue a role in the American X Factor, which she was later sacked from by former friend and colleague Simon Cowell.

The two parted ways both personally and professionally with Cole (or now “Fernandez-Versini” ) sending Cowell an angry message regarding being sacked from the US X factor. Despite this, three years on, the two seem to have made amends and the two are said to be friendly but fiesty with one another on the judging panel, which can mean only one thing – Brilliant television!

Aside from all the drama, the show has produced it’s fair share of talent. Leona Lewis, Little Mix and James Arthur are just some of the brilliant winners of the X factor that have gone on to have successful careers.

We literally cannot wait to see what the show has in store for us this year as it kicks off on Saturday 30th August 2014.

Will you be watching and does this signal the start to the Christmas countdown?  Comment below we would love to hear your thoughts!
