It’s Pudding Week! We Take A Look At The Supermarkets Mouthwatering Christmas Desserts

Our favourite time of the year is Christmas, and our favourite part of dinner is the dessert so when we heard that The Great British Bake Off’s challenge this week was puddings we went and had a sneak preview of all the desserts that will be available for Christmas 2014 and we couldn’t help buy drool!

New to Tesco’s for Christmas is this Croquembouche Patisserie kit that is supposed to serve 20 – personally, our team of five could easily demolish two of these – we wonder if Mary will set this as the technical challenge this week…

M&S have released their Christmas desserts for 2014, and we must say, our tummy’s have been rumbling ever since we saw them! This is a white chocolate dome igloo with a cute penguin on the front!

Asda’s Extra Special Two Tier Snowflake Cake is a real treat. Not one, but two tiers of fruit, port and finished off with a marzipan Santa and sleigh!

Also new to Tesco for Christmas 2014 are these Finest Senga Strawberry & champagne Mousse pots. Champagne and dessert? We’re sold!

Waitrose have also released a range of festive cakes this year and we have to say this is by far the cutest robin cake we have seen.

Morrisons have tempted us with some gorgeous festive cupcakes that look as though they will melt in our mouths.

Asda’s Chosen By You Mulled Wine Cheesecake, need we say more? Its a cheesecake with mulled wine what more could you possibly want from a cheesecake at Christmas?

Marks And Spencers have really out-done themselves this year with this cake. Made up of not one or two tiers but five gorgeous gooey chocolate brownie with hazelnut praline milk chocolate ganache tiers, now this really is a showstopper!

With the GBBO’s theme this week being Desserts, we’re excited to see the creations they come up with. We hope to see some Christmas designs in there. After all, Christmas is the tastiest time of the year as you can see from all the Supermarkets Christmas Desserts above.
