Of course, our favourite is the most obvious of all the Christmas stories – T’was The Night Before Christmas. Many of our Christmas memories involve us heading to bed on Christmas Eve where this classic story was read to us in the hope that we’d be sleeping by the time it was finished. Of course, we never were! Christmas Eve is too exciting and the thought of sugar plums dancing in our heads made us even more excited.
Of course, there are other popular Christmas Books such as The Snowman or A Christmas Carol. Even ‘The Polar Express’ is in book form.
There’s something magical and innocent about reading a Christmas book that evokes an emotion that Television and music cannot replicate.
Some of our fondest memories involve books and so today on World Book Day, we are encouraging all of you to pick up your favourite Christmas Book and get yourself in the festive mood… in March. Granted, it might take a bit of imagination, but books bring out the best in all of our imaginations and we have every belief that you will feel just as Christmassy as us by the end of the day.
