Elaine (age 58) grabbed these and put them to the test!
Firstly, the packaging is gorgeous! You will feel as though you are part of a special club when you receive this. The masks came in a gold box which had red writing on the front and a beautiful cream pattern down the side.
Inside there are five face masks, ready simply to open and use. The masks themselves are gold coloured and have small spaces for your eyes, nose and mouth – Finally a mask you can breathe in!
The directions, ingredients and features of the product are on the back of the box and Jamela advise you to cleanse your face with warm water prior to usage, Elaine did this because after reading such rave reviews such as ” Essential for looking your best” – Daily Mail she wanted to get the best from the product.
After opening up the silver packaging you are greeted with a gold and quite large face, you would expect it to be slippery to put on but it isn’t. Once on, Elaine said it was cool and even though a little tricky to place it wasn’t going anywhere fast, however lock the doors or someone is in for a real treat when they see you!
Keeping it on for around 2 hours (minimum 30 minutes and up to 5 hours) she was surprised at how long you could wear the mask. Expecting it to dry out and go crackly like other masks this one did not. It held its shape, kept relatively cool and once finished didn’t leave the skin feeling sticky and gooey.
The result? After peeling off her mask, Elaine said: “My skin felt refreshed, looked dewy and it definitely helped smooth out my lines. I would say that if you have the budget, as they are pretty expensive, these would be a must-have for any beauty regime.”
So how about it? Real 24k gold collagen face masks which do work, but at £49.50 for 5 this might be one to use for special occasions?
