Jumbo Games heads to Cbeebies for Something Special

Jumbo Games signs a three year licensing deal with the BBC Cbeebies popular children’s show Something Special

Already producing a high range of kids toys, the collaboration will see Jumbo Games producing a range of products which star presenter Justin Fletcher and the much loved Mr Tumble. Toys including A 4 in 1 shaped puzzle will launch exclusively with Tesco in September 2012 with a 4 x 20 piece puzzle assortment, memo game and floor game planned for release next year.

“We are thrilled to be working with the BBC to develop an interactive puzzle and game range for Something Special fans. It’s a fantastic property, a favourite with my children, and we are delighted to re-create the fun and humor of this show in puzzle and game formats” said Managing Director of Jumbo Games, Gray Richmond.

Something Special is a pre-school show which airs on CBeebies every day. Focusing on aspects of the children’s world about them, the show is fun, informative and will help children absorb new information and remember something they have already learned.

The name Something Special associates with the idea that all children are special and important, no matter what their learning abilities are. The Something Special range of consumer products aims to live up to this.
