After tearing into all of Santa’s parcels and even having a few cheeky sweets on Christmas morning, the TV is usually then put on for the kids to watch and this years children’s lineup looks fantastic!
If like us you are up first thing to see what Santa has left, you can tune in to BBC1 at 9.00am and settle down to watch The Gruffalo which is then followed by Peter Rabbit’s Christmas Tale, however if you and the kids are up even earlier you can head over to ITV1 and watch Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders (2000) at 7.55am and following straight after is the Disney classic Aladdin which will finish around 11.10 am – just in time for a few more sweets!
To get the day kick started (so the parents can get on with making the dinner) kids can settle down to watch Shrek the Halls at 12.15pm and straight after Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa on BBC1. ITV1 will also be playing a film Toy Story at 1.25pm.
Depending on what time you have Christmas dinner (before or after the Queen’s speech at 3.00pm) your little ones can tune into ITV1 to view Tangled at 3.10pm or over on BBC1 Shrek Forever After.
After dinner has finished, and one or two are sleeping… we mean “resting our eyes” its then time for parents to tune into this years Doctor Who which if you have older children will love.
