Powerhouse singer Lady Gaga and jazz crooner Tony Bennett have teamed up for the H&M Christmas advert for 2014. Little Monsters can rejoice!
Despite the two high profile musicians working on the H&M Christmas advertisement, no images have surfaced from the campaign, with the exception of one “behind the scenes” photo which is pictured. We can only hope it features a big jazzy Christmas song and lots of festive cheer.
The two worked on music together in 2011 for Tony’s album “Duets II” and fans of Gaga learned that the singer was a lover of Jazz music.
The pair are set to release their new album “cheek to cheek” on September 23rd with jazz classics making a comeback on the album. You can pre-order the album HERE.
Speaking of their upcoming album, Lady Gaga Said:
“You know, it’s funny, but jazz comes a little more comfortable for me than pop music, than R&B music. I’ve sung Jazz since I was 13 years old, which is kind of like my little secret that Tony found out. So this is almost easier for me than anything else.”
Bennett is clearly impressed with Gaga’s vocals, adding that “They’re going to say we had no idea she sings that well”.
The new H&M Christmas ad will debut on our screens in November with the full advert being available at that point on their website.
Fingers crossed Gaga leaves the meat dress out of the advert….
