UnderTheChristmasTree has learned that the new LeapPad Ultra is available in both pink and green and has a high resolution 7 inch screen with front and back 2 megapixel cameras. When taking your new educational tablet out of its box you will notice that it is sturdy, has a good grip on it and is fairly light to hold.

When kids are playing with this new tablet, they will be able to have lots of fun with all for the built-in features the Ultra has to offer. They can add filters and effects to photos using the Photo Fun Ultra, create crisp, colourful masterpieces with the enhanced Art Studio Ultra app.

If they feel like to want to rock out to the included learning songs or jam to their own music then they can do so with the built-in MP3 player. Their pets can even chat and play with other pets in two peer-to-peer apps included.

If they are looking for fun things to do on their LeapFrog tablet then they can use LeapFrog’s award-winning-library of over 800 educator-approved apps, games, ebooks, videos, music and more. The library draws on 2,600 skills in auto-levelling games that adapt to their pace in subjects such as reading and writing, maths, creativity and life skills, and science and social studies.

LeapPad Ultra can hold up to 40,000 photos but don’t worry about having to buy extra memory as LeapFrog have got it covered with a massive 8GB of memory plus they have also included a built-in lithium ion rechargeable battery.

Kids can also use their LeapPad Ultra to browse the web using LeapSearch which is powered by secure browser Zui to browse only the safest videos and images from the web in a safe, walled-off environment. However if you are still unsure about them using the Wi-Fi and what they are browsing for, you can
always change some of the parental settings on the device to take charge of your child’s online experience.

Overall we feel that the LeapPad Ultra is a brilliant way to get kids learning but they can also have fun while doing it!
