Lego hires boy age 7 to be Mini Apprentice

LEGO mad boy Elliott Turner has won his dream job at LEGO after being selected from over 100 candidates to take on the role of a mini apprentice at Legoland Discovery Center.

Nearly seven, Elliott wowed bosses with his impressive CV and described his first day in the job (which started on Friday!) as “cool” – we sure bet it was!

He said: “You got to do the factory tour and all the other things they have.”

Advertised in the national newspaper, mum Jane and Dad Gary are the people to thank for Elliott winning his job. He was one 10 children chosen to spend his summer testing toys after sending his CV to the company.

To read his CV visit

Jane (mum of Elliott) said really happy” about getting the job. She said: “He couldn’t wait to go. He was told he had to go in business wear so he was excited to get a shirt and tie.”

As part of his working day Elliott helped build a 3D map of the centre and shadowed the master model builder, who is responsible for inventing and creating new toys – We’re wondering if we could win a competition like this!

Congratulations to Elliott Turner!
