Here is what we know on the Lego 4193 set…
Jack Sparrow (Captain of course!) and Joshamee Gibbs have just escaped the hangman’s noose by the skin of their teeth only to be captured again by King George’s soldiers.
Jack and Joshamee Gibbs take to the hectic streets of London where they manage to hide in the Captain’s daughter tavern.
The Lego Pirates of the Caribbean The London Escape is based on one of the new scenes from the new POTC movie on strange tides and is already a popular choice of kids toys for 2011.
At first glance the London escape Lego box looks pretty much exactly what old London in Victorian times would look like. Featuring the cobbled streets, horse and carriages, soldiers and old style taverns. When you open the box there are 462 Lego pieces for you to start constructing which include five minifigures, two carriages, 2 horses, weapons, building and accessories. The building has two different sections which have a hinge so you can open and close it. The outside of the building is grey with old style wooden doors and windows also there is a black flag which is attached to the door with the word Captain’s Daughter on it. On the inside there are lots of different accessories which you would expect such as a fire lit torch, a barrel and more.
There is lots to play and build with Lego Pirates of the Caribbean The London Escape 4193 which include the special carriages. The carriages are pulled by the horses and on one there is a coach driver who is brandishing his whip. On this carriage there is an old fashioned lamp, big brown wheels and the carriage itself is green and black with a treasure chest at the back. On the other the horse is white with no driver.
Just as expected the minifigures with the Lego 4193 The London Escape set look very realistic to the character they portray. Captain Jack Sparrow is waving his sword ready to fight and of course wearing his hat. Joshamee Gibbs has his famous large sideburns and grey hair, he is wearing a dark grey sleeveless jacket which has buttons down it,a white neck scarf and brown belt. The two soldiers are wearing their red and blue uniforms and are carrying their gun. One of our favourite minifigures is the horse coach driver there is just something about him that make him look scary, he has scruffy facial hair, a brown long cape, brown torso and a tricorn hat.
Suitable for children ages 7-14 the London escape set has 462 leg pieces and if you love POTC and collect other Lego sets then this set would be the perfect addition. This Lego set retails at around £46.99.
