Lego The Legend of Zelda in production?

Lego will re-consider and review latest fan-designed Zelda play-set next month.

The fate of Zelda is once again in Lego’s hands. After being turned down in 2012 even though a whopping 10,000 votes of support were put to the group it seemed like The Legend of Zelda would never be Lego’lized.

The company had originally said: “Multiple new element molds would be required to create the minifigures for such a product, and the expense of these molds means that the Legend of Zelda project unfortunately does not pass the LEGO Review on the basis of the business case.”

however it seems after so many supporters took to the vote, Lego has decided to re-consider for approval next month.

The play-set which features different minifigures and a separate design will see fans of the franchise hoping for this to be approved.

LEGO rejected the fan-designed sets late last year, in favor of a LEGO Back to the Future toy.
