Groceries store Lidl launches 15 month Charity of the year partnership with Leading children and young people’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent.
Aiming to raise £150,000 to help children and young people with cancer, Lidl and CLIC Sargent will work together by fundraising which will include running marathons, gathering donations and bucket collections as well as organizing Christmas parties for the children.
Kicking it off this week, Lidl made a pledge to donate 30p from every pack of Oaklands British apples to CLIC Sargent, plus for every new Facebook fan this week Lidl will donate £1, and just to top it all off they will donate a lump sum of £10,000 when their Facebook fanbase reaches 200,000!
