Miranda will come to an end with two Christmas specials, it has been confirmed during an interview with the sitcom’s star Miranda Hart.
When asked by BBC Radio 2’s Steve Wright why she had chosen to release The Best of Miranda, the award-winning comic actress explained: “Well, [it’s] because I’m actually coming to the end of the whole sitcom.
“This is the first time I’m saying it out loud, so it’s a bit weird!”
Hart continued by saying: “So I’m doing two Christmas specials, but they are going to be the finale of the show, full stop. So I wanted to do a book to celebrate the series and celebrate all the people who have supported it and watched it, so they get to see the scripts and some backstage gossip and all that sort of thing.”
