We passed it over to John (our tecky fan) to put it through its paces and this is what he had to say.
“After removing the speaker from it’s packaging and taking 2 minutes to read the set up instructions I plugged it straight into my laptop using the headphone style jack and turned on some of my favourite tunes. At the moment I’m listening to the music from the Forest Gump movie. I was instantly impressed with the easy installation process and the tone is amazing.
Who would have believed that something this small would give such excellent sound quality. As I’ve been planning a trip to the big apple, this is one piece of equipment that I’ll be slipping into my hand luggage before I leave.
What a bonus, now I can listen to my favourite music in the apartment without having to use earphones and I can also watch and listen to my favourite tv programmes in stereo sound – bliss!
Made from sturdy aluminum it has a built in rechargeable lithium battery that will last an incredible 100 hours before needing to be recharged, and if you want even more volume (I doubt you’ll need it though) you can join in more speakers.
We were sent the orange version, not usually a colour I’d choose but it’s more of a dark,metallic colour of orange than the usual bright in your face orange, of the Friendz Music Angel but it is available in loads of other colours including black,silver,red,pink,purple,blue,lime etc.
Now you can listen to your favourite music stored on any of your ipad,iphone,MP3 devices as you sip drinks while you catch the rays on the beach – a word of warning the Music Angel does not like water, so keep it well away from any splashing fun.
Weighing just 150 grams and measuring just 75 x 50 x 52 mm you’ll be as surprised and delighted as I was with the output. This is such a neat piece of kit that I’ll certainly be taking one or more with me (I’ll slip it into my wife’s handbag – as it’s so small and light she’ll never notice) whenever we’re out and about. If you carry a laptop bag it’ll fit neatly inside giving you amazing volume at any of your presentations”.
