My Scare Pal Sulley
At first glance My Scare Pal Sulley looks like a soft plush toy, light to pick up and fun to play with however once you remove the tag Sulley will come to life as he talks and roars, however he is more cuddly than scary! He has three unique modes – tickle, scare or sleep time modes and watch as his mouth and eyes come to life as you squeeze him.
If you are a fan of Monster University you will notice just how much this toy looks like the real life Sulley, with his blue and purple fur, big blue eyes, horns and either side of his head and you can see his teeth.
To start with you need to pull out the tag on the back of My Scare Pal Sulley to activate the 2 x AA batteries which are included. He has two activation points in his belly. Put you hands at the sides of Sulley’s waist and press to hear him talk and move his face. Also if you want to switch to one of the other modes, simply shake him to change it.
When we pressed the sides of Sulley he started to talk with phrases such as “Hey Buddy, Scare Ya Later” and “HAHAHAHA…That Tickles” but we were in for a surprise as when we used both hands to squeeze him he let out a loud growl, (Holly from the office got a bit of a fright!) and with 15 different expressions and sounds the options are endless.
When it was time to put Monster University Sulley away, we found that it was easy to put him back in his original box and it was easy to store away, however there is no off button so you will need to unscrew and remove the batteries, we learned this the hard way, as Katy moved Sulley he let out a loud roar which we were not prepared for!
Overall we found that this toy by SpinMaster was a great interactive, fun toy, which will have your kids playing with for hours – they can even take him to their friends house as he is portable. Sulley is easy to keep clean and store away. It will cost around £30 and is the perfect toy for any Monster University fan especially for Christmas.
