Well we do deserve a break once in a while.

Are you ready for a PINK crispy wafer bar which has an intense berry-fruitiness taste without the addition of any flavour or colour? Make way for… Kit Kat Ruby.

Introduced earlier this year in Japan and Korea, we here in the UK couldn’t wait to get our hands on the new and innovative bar which is made with Ruby chocolate*, a fourth chocolate after dark, milk and white – who knew a fourth chocolate even existed!

Alex Gonnella, Marketing Director for Nestlé’s UK confectionery business, said: “After the extremely successful launch of KITKAT Chocolatory Sublime Ruby in Japan and South Korea, this is the first time the Ruby chocolate will be available in an iconic four finger format and we are sure that the Ruby chocolate KITKAT will be a great hit in the UK.

Created by Swiss chocolatier Barry Callebaut, KITKAT Ruby will launch here in the UK exclusively in Tesco from 16th April.

This isn’t the first breakthrough or first chocolate bar for Nestle over the last few months as it announced last year that it will reduce the sugar content in its famous chocolate bar brands PLUS this year  KITKAT senses the individually wrapped bite size pieces of deliciousness were also launched and way back in January it revealed it was bringing its premium ‘Les Recettes De L’Atelier’ chocolate brand over to our shores.
