With Christmas fast approaching, we’re not the only ones with the festive season on our minds. Drinks company, Diageo, are releasing two new drinks just in time for Christmas 2013.
The first drink to be released is Chocolate Baileys. Yes, you read that right, CHOCOLATE! Now there is only one thing better than a nice glass of Baileys by the fire on a cold winters night, and that is chocolate to go with it – now we have the two in one (although we might still be tempted to have some Quality Streets as well!).
The drink will include Madagascan Vanilla and will contain 30g of Belgian Chocolate in each bottle. It will have a slightly lower alcohol content than previous bottles of Baileys with 15.7% in comparison to 17% previously.
August 26th is the release date for this and I’m pretty sure I can speak for all the team here at underthechristmastree.co.uk when I say it’s likely we’ll all be buying some!
The second drink to be released in time for Christmas is Smirnoff Gold. The new Smirnoff drink tastes of Cinnamon (perfect for Christmas!) and has flecks of real gold. Yes, REAL Gold. (If we can’t afford to wear it, we may as well drink it!)
The drink is a cinnamon flavoured liqueur and it is already available exclusively at Tesco’s, however it will be made available across the UK on August 26th 2013.
