New Furby colours and price’s have been announced

You will be able to buy HASBRO Furby in different colours with a RRP:£59.99 this Christmas!

Furby will official hit the Christmas shelves with a price tag at £59.99 and not only can you enjoy the original blue one there will be an array of bright colours to become available, including black, pink and purple and yellow.

Arriving in Autumn we at UndertheChristmasTree had already predicted that Hasbro would release other coloured versions, mostly due to the fact the hit old school from the 90s were different colours.

At the moment they will be releasing a palette of 10 in the US and this is due to be the same in the UK. Most of these Furbies will have a single colour, however there are a few which have a mix of two or more such as the pink / purple and light blue / Dark blue ones.

We have no doubt that special edition furby will also be created where only a selected amount of one colour/type will be available.

Earlier this month Hasbro revealed a US RRP of $60 for the furry mechanical creature, and some of Furby’s features were shown off, including an accelerometer, sensors, LED eyes and an iOS app.

The original Furby was a hit toy in the late ’90s. Over 40 million Furbies have been sold worldwide to date.

Below is a little information and pictures of the new colours of furby:

White Furby
Pristine white and appearing to have longer hair this is to be one of the new furbies which is to have a different kind of fur.

The white furby looks to be very fluffy and has clear light blue eyes!

Pink / Purple Furby
Unlike the plain colours the purple / pink furby has a funky looking design with pink highlights.

Featuring purple and pink ears, eyes and feet he will really stand out from the rest of the pack!

Red / Orange Furby
Somewhere in between red and orange kids will love the bright colours.

If you place him next to any of the other version he will be very noticeable.

Black Furby

Already one of the most talked about the black furby stand great along side the white one.

He is one of our favourites and not just because if he get’s a little mark on him you will never see it!

Yellow Furby
Not our most loved version however they yellow colour does make him look good.

Pink Furby
Girls will fall in love with the bright pink furby, with very fluffy and soft hair you can just see girls carrying this around in their handbag!

Purple Furby
The body is a lighter purple from the feet and eyes and we think this is a great alternative to the pink.

Light Blue / Teal Blue Furby
Looking at this furby who has two colour’s he looks to have a teal blue colour on his ears and feet. There is also blue highlights through his hair.

Dark Blue / Light Blue
Another one of the Furbies who is two-toned, he has longer fluffy fur and would look great standing next to the white furby!

You already know that Furby is to come with his own personality and over time his personality may change depending on how you treat and care for furby, however it is unclear whether or not the default personality of each colour will be set on a different mode – this would be super cool especially if the pink version was a bit of a diva and the blue one was a cool as an ice cube!

At the moment we can assume that Hasbro have decided that each Furby will be set on the same mode and will change depending on how you care for them.
