New toy library for special toys out next month

Children who require additional needs will be able to try out special toys in a new toy library opening in November.

Helping children to find the right toy to meet their needs, the new library will help take away expensive trial and error process when parents buy a toy.

“It provides the opportunity to try out products before committing to buy them, or alternatively borrow products that focus on the specific needs of children such as mobility, balance and communication.” said Lizzie Leadbeater, CPC chairwoman

Funding from Calderdale Council, Calderdale Parents and Carers (CPC) has been able to create a sensory toy library at their base on Hanson Lane, Halifax.

Launching on November 15th at the CPC’s AGM you can attend by contacting 01422 343090 by phone or [email protected]
