- 104 cream tiles
- 4 different designs
- suitable for age 4 – 104
- available from Amazon.co.uk
Inside the Pear shaped bag (Pairs in Pears) you will find 104 cream coloured tiles. There are four sets of plastic letter tiles, each a letter of the alphabet but differ in their design. Just like a game of cards the designs feature 4 suits – instead of Spades, Hearts etc this time it’s solid, outline, lines and dots.
The Pairs in Pears game:
- Measures 14 x 10 x 9.5 cm approx
- Suitable for age 4 – 104 (or older)
- 104 pieces
- Manufactured by Winning Moves
- Part of the Bananagrams range
- No batteries required
The aim of the game is to make pairs of intersecting words that consist of tiles in the same pattern. The words are either up and down or left and right. The first player to make a certain number of words wins. Similar in style to junior scrabble this game is easy to transport, can be played anywhere and by most children.
It is suitable for ages 4 to adult and is a fun way to help develop memory and spelling skills as well as word construction and vocabulary. They’ll be having so much fun playing the game they’ll not realise they’re learning at the same time.
Winning Moves Pairs in Pears is so much fun and it will keep the whole family entertained. The great thing is that it’s so easy to store away in its funky little pear bag and it can be taken with you wherever you go.
There are a further two games from Winning Moves which are similar: Appletters and Bananagrams which also have many educational benefits while still being fun.
